The iPhone Hunt: Not Looking Good…

I’m waiting in line at my local AT&T …
There are only 11 people in front of me, but unfortunately no iPhones have arrived here yet. I’ll give it a while, but I’m not counting on getting one tonight.

I’ll keep you posted…
UPDATE:
The iPhones aren’t coming, so I needed to place an order with overnight shipping. [...]

Biometric “Cookies”…

It’s a fact of life today - you are being tracked…
And not just online.
The government has permanent cameras up in most major cities, and at major transportation, entertainment and sporting venues around the country. There are cameras all over most office buildings and stores. There are smart cameras that take your picture at [...]

A Sharper Edge…

It seems that AT&T has been busy…
When I got on my Blackberry this morning to check on the news, the performance seemed a bit better than usual. Both CNN and SeekingAlpha seemed to load much faster.
I popped over to Engadget next and after reading a few recent posts, discovered one that suggests [...]

Two big reviews of the iPhone came out last night…

With the unanimous exception of how bad AT&T’s network is…
There’s no real surprise on that one, but there was a real surprise for me on something else. [...]

Will iPhone Support Flash?…

I like Apple’s h.264 encoding, but I depend on Flash…
Apple has already announced that a YouTube application will be available on the iPhone when it launches, and that it will use Apple’s h.264 codec for displaying videos. And while I do feel that h.264 is technically better that Flash (IMHO), I still can’t see [...]

A Great Quote I Found…

Every now an then you come across a quote that seems to really resonate…
I just added a “Quote Of The Day” widget to this site after reading the quote I saw come up for today. It is a very powerful social observation by Alexander Hamilton:
Experience teaches that men are often so much governed by what [...]
